What is the Purpose of Advisement?

Advisement is good for middle school and high school students

Students get to know each other well and stand up for each other

Advisory Teacher becomes a resource when students need help

Improved grades, test scores, attendance

Students discuss topics from the Needs Survey and topics not usually talked about in class

Future topics will include: Team building, Diversity, Goal Setting, Communication, Problem Solving
